Our first site at the magnificent Kentwell Hall has a beautiful view of the rolling Suffolk countryside towards the very charming Long Melford village. You can talk a walk down the impressive half-mile drive from Kentwell Hall into the village and grab a pint at the cosy Hare Inn pub. 

If Coronavirus travel restrictions affect your booking, you'll be able to move your booking to either later this year or have a pick from our summer availability next year so there's no need to worry about losing your booking.

Please note, you can purchase alcohol through our add on system once you have booked your stay. Please refrain from bringing your own alcohol on site.

There are two ways of booking with us: 

Kymani Getaways Exclusive Hire
Each site can be booked for between 2-7 nights depending on the day you check in, and the exclusive site hire fee is £1975 per night for two people per tent ( 20 people in total), which includes 10 luxury bell tents, breakfast, dinner and use of the onsite facilities. If your group is a little bigger then it’s £50 per additional adult or £25 per child per night, allowing your group to increase from 20 to up to 40. 5s and under are free but are counted towards the maximum capacity of 40. 
**Minimum booking of two nights

Kymani Getaways Collective Hire 
Kymani Collective offers the chance for smaller groups to get away from it all for a few days and will allow for a number of small groups to share the site for between 2-7 nights depending on the day you check-in. Each tent costs £197.50 per night for two people which includes breakfast, dinner and use of the onsite facilities.  Each tent can sleep a maximum of 4 people so If your group is a little bigger then it’s £50 per additional adult or £25 per child for per night. 5s and under are free but count towards the maximum capacity of four per tent.

Fancy trying your hand at some new activites whilst staying with Kymani Getaways? From water sports to wine tasting, we can provide fun for all the family. You can book all of your additional activities via the Kymani Concierge part of our website 6 weeks before your trip to make sure it’s completely tailored to your group. 

We are so fortunate to be on the doorstep of the beautiful Stour Valley. Connecting Essex and Suffolk and offering 1,000 miles of trails through National Park caliber protected landscapes, the Stour Valley is an adventure playground for walkers, cyclists and paddlesports lovers – perfect for friends and families of all ages.

We’re working with the Stour Valley Adventure centre who offer a brilliant three hour canoeing or paddleboarding adventure safari (with perhaps a stop off at a local pub!)

One for the littlest members of your group! If your child has always wanted to try horse-riding this is the time! Highbank Riding School is just 10 minutes down the road and is a family run riding school specialising in teaching small groups of children.

We are so lucky to be close to the wonderful Giffords Hall, a a family owned vineyard planted on the site of an ancient glacial riverbed near Long Melford in Suffolk. Their sandy/clay soil produces quality grapes, high in natural sugars and acids, that lend themselves particularly well to both sparkling and dry, aromatic still wines.

The venue is situated in a thick woodland, which makes it an ideal location for your paintball session, and gives you a real sense of adventure.

With over 5 expertly designed game zones, you are spoilt for choice at Paintball Chelmsford. From saving downed Helicopters in Crash to using all your firepower to attack the enemy in Village Under Siege, there is challenge for everyone, first timers and seasoned veterans

Clay Shooting, Elveden, Thetford IP24 3TQ

We are working with nationwide Clay-Pigeon experts The Big Shoot at our local centre which is a 45 minutes drive away. You can test your skills with their Clay Pigeon Shooting package which is suitable for both novices and those who consider themselves to be a crack shot. The package includes 30 shots so plenty of time to hone your skills!



Onsite Activities

Take a stroll of about a mile through the 1,000-acre estate of the stunning Tudor classical Kentwell Hall and you'll be rewarded with a whole range of activities available to you without you needing to step foot offsite. There are beautifully manicured gardens, a moat-house and a multitude of historical artefacts.

Kentwell Hall pioneers domestic living history events so you might be lucky enough to be there when the team are putting on one of their special events. Along with the historical events, there is sometimes an open-air cinema and themed days.

We’re really lucky to have yoga expert Sophia Howard who is going to help us get each day off to great start by leading us in a morning yoga session. Sophia teaches both Hatha and Flow styles of yoga. She firmly believes that yoga is for everybody and creates a supportive and inclusive environment, each class with Sophia is a wholesome, nourishing experience. Sophia and her team (Claire & Joanne) are offering two styles of practice for you, which are then further tailored to your group's needs Hatha Yoga This class is best for Mixed Ability groups as there is more opportunity for modifications or variations. The Hatha practice is a steadier paced class that includes breathwork, posture work and relaxation. Flow Yoga This class is best suited to groups with some experience of yoga as there is less opportunity for modifications. The Flow practice is a faster paced class that includes breathwork, posture work and relaxation.

Ever fancied throwing an axe around? Who hasn’t?! We are working with activities experts Team Building Solutions to bring you a package of activities for you to try your hand at. With over 30 years of experience designing corporate team building events for companies of all sizes, they also cater for groups of friends and families to create a really memorable few hours of fun. Together with Team Building Solutions, we have created the ultimate package for you.

We have partnered with events and cocktails experts Dice Cocktail Events to bring a really fun element to site for you and your group to learn all of the insider cocktail-making tips from their experts either before or after your dinner. You can either select the standard cocktail-making masterclass and learn how to make two classic cocktails ( along with a welcome cocktail to get things started!), or you can add in their unique ‘Cocktail Contingency’ twist which involves playing four games to select the ingredients to make your very own recipe!

We are working with the wonderful Pep Days who are dedicated wellbeing event specialists. They have created two special package for us at two very different paces so both fitness fanatics and mindfulness enthusiasts are catered for. Their Fit and Active Package includes:

Whether you walk, jog or run, join our early morning group session to learn new skills, enhance your health and happiness in the great outdoors and improve your fitness.

Getting There


Just over an hour from Junction 27 of the M25, Kentwell  Hall makes an especially-convenient getaway for those in North London. It’s also just an hour’s drive from Cambridge.


If you’re looking to come by train, we’re less than half an hour in a taxi away from Bury St Edmunds or 15 minutes away from Sudbury.
